Get Involved
Put Your Purpose Into Action
You are unique in the way that God made you and you have a purpose. Put your purpose into action by participating in a ministry and serving the Lord. We are happy that you are a part of our ministry and we want you to continue pursuing God in all things. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10) Serve in one area of the ministry or many.
There's a Place for Everyone
We have several ministry opportunities where you and your family can use your gifts and talents in God’s kingdom. It doesn't matter what age you are, God can use you to help bring salvation to the world. Getting involved in the church starts with faithfully attending services, then growing and developing your relationship with God. Then you can plug in and get involved in the ministry under the guidance and leadership of our pastors. When we all join together in God, there is nothing we can't do.
Ready to go to the next level in God?
Apostle Porter's Four Keys to Spiritual Growth
Serve God
Serving God keeps our hearts right before Him and allows us to have compassion for others. Peter says, Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms...If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 4:10-11. Faithful service in the church is a good foundation for progression in God.
Obtain Freedom in Christ
Freedom in Christ is essential to ministering in God. It's important that we aren't burdened by afflictions that can hinder our walk with God and impact another's life in a negative way. If you are battling with a mental or moral conflict, healing and deliverance ministry can help you. If ministers are battling with these issues, the fruit in their life may not reflect God's. We want all who partner with us in the work of the Lord to have liberty, righteousness, joy and peace in the Lord.
Demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. They come directly from the Holy Spirit to sand down the rough edges and harshness in our personalities and make us more like Christ. The fruit of the Spirit also aids us during our struggles in life. They are evidence that we are living in accordance with the Holy Spirit.
Learn from Leadership
God called someone to birth a nation (Abraham), to preserve that nation (Joseph), to lead that nation out of slavery (Moses), and to lead them in conquering the land (Joshua). He used individual men and women to further his agenda. He directed judges and kings to govern and prophets to reprove his people. And finally he sent one man to die for the sins of the world. God uses people like us to accomplish his work, which is a privilege. We are his “fellow-workers,” his “ambassadors,” his “representatives,” his “servants,” and “ministers”, but we don't become that way overnight. We need mentorship from our spiritual leaders that will teach us how to take our natural and spiritual gifts and use them for the purposes of God and to positively influence God's Kingdom.
The Pathway to Spiritual Greatness
We've seen it before in the Church, where someone wants to be a leader in ministry RIGHT NOW! We get it. The Lord called and you answered him. That should mean that you you're ready to start ministering tomorrow, right? The path to becoming a great spiritual leader in the church is a process. It requires surrendering to spiritual leadership and God so they can prune you and grow you. One has to study to show himself/herself approved, develop personal accountability and learn to operate in spiritual stability, while learning how to fine tune your capacity in God. When we delight in God, he gives us the desires of our heart. We can help you take your passion and zeal for God and cultivate it through discipleship training. We're excited to see you reach new heights in the Lord!
Discipleship Training
Pursue God. Be Activated.
Discipleship training gives you an opportunity to discover your passions and your part in God’s purposes for the world. Under the leadership of our pastors, you will get to know God on a deeper level, dive into his word, renew your mind, seek personal growth, and serve in an area of the ministry when your training is complete. Christian ministry can be defined in terms of the Great Commission of our Lord: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:19-20). Not only does Freedom in Christ Apostolic Ministries make disciples, we equip you to make disciples as well.
Become a Covenant Partner
Covenant partnership is a biblical principle. When you financially partner with this ministry, you join us in spreading the gospel and you activate the principle of sowing, reaping, and blessing in your life. The Lord promises us that He sees and rewards every good thing we do, motivated by a pure heart. We can do exceedingly and abundantly more together. Grow with us and let's win the world for Christ!
